The 2025 AAO Annual Session will take place April 25 to 27 in Philadelphia, offering extensive education and networking opportunities while generating an estimated $25 million for the local economy.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) will host its 2025 Annual Session from April 25 to 27 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The event, recognized as the largest professional gathering in orthodontics, is expected to draw thousands of clinicians, researchers, and industry experts from around the world.
The Annual Session will feature over 175 educational lectures, offering attendees opportunities to engage with leading voices in clinical practice, research, and practice management. The Exhibit Hall, open throughout the three-day event, will include more than 350 exhibitors presenting the latest in orthodontic technology and services.
In addition to its professional significance, the event is projected to contribute nearly $25 million in economic activity to Philadelphia. According to the AAO, this underscores not only the association’s influence in the specialty but also its role in supporting the broader local economy, particularly in the post-pandemic recovery period.
“This event not only advances our specialty but also brings a significant economic boost to our host city,” said John Callahan, DDS, MS, president of the AAO.
